The German association of manufacturers of concrete pipes and reinforced concrete pipes (FBS) was established in 1990 and is headquartered in Bonn. It is an association of leading manufacturers of concrete and reinforced concrete pipes as well as concrete and reinforced concrete chamber components for sewage/drainage systems. Some of its members also run production sites in neighbouring countries. They are all committed to manufacturing products according to FBS quality standards. FBS represents its members' interests in several important standards commissions and panels (such as DIN e.V. or the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste, DWA). In addition, FBS provides advocacy and marketing services for its members and has created a concrete pipe technology platform for everyone engaged in the field of wastewater disposal. |
